Winter Wander No 2 at Rufford Park (Nottinghamshire) - Re-arranged

 for THURSDAY 26th February 2026 - Winter Rules will be in Place

Gentlemen thank you for those who have confirmed their attendance at the Winter Wander on Thursday 26th February 2026 at Rufford Park GC (Nottinghamshire). Details are : Rufford Park Golf Club, Rufford Lane, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG22 9DG, Tele 01623 825253.

Format for the day will be 4 Ball betterball, with 2 Best Scores to count. Handicap Index will be adjusted to Course Handicap, then EG rules of 85% as playing handicaps.  Playing off Yellow Tees, Par 70, Slope rating of 126.

We will meet & greet from 10:00Hrs for Bacon Cob & Coffee /Tea, then 1st tee at 11:00hrs, then after golf a single Course Meal will be taken, there will be Place Prizes plus a nearest the Pin Prize on Holes No 7 & No 17.

  Golfers who have already confirmed attending are listed below and put together as requested by the lead golfer for the Team (Club) or members joined to make up a full team. All names and details have been sent to Rufford Park Golf Club, to ensure numbers asre confirmed with the Club & Catering teams. At present we 27 Golfers attending on the day now. Golfers who require Buggies (if available) must book them individually, Winter rules will be in place and SLRGC will also confirm "Mats" can be used on closely mown area, plus clean & dropping in the rough. Local rules may also be in place on the day, specific to Rufford Park GC. Golfers should check with the club before tarvelling to see if it is open if the weather conditions are Not favorable for golf, as last minute messages may be send out if the course is closed (As happend in January)

11.37 - Brian Cole, David Hirst, Eric Cooper, David Waddell

11:45 - Gerry McIntyre, Kevin Moxham, Bill Baum, Paul Tuyson.

An email will be sent to the above list of golfers to ensure all are aware of times. Cost of the day is £40 per Head, inclusive of Bacon Cob & Coffee / Tea on arrival, then Golf on the 18 Hole Championship Course, after golf a 1 Course meal be taken and Prizes. The main meal will be from the Club Menu board (Subject to Dietary needs Only) selected before play. The lead golfer (member) must ensure any guest playing in the 4 Ball are fully informed of Tee Times and cost.
