Your President (Gerald "Gerry" Barwood) has now planned his Presidents Weekend Away to take place at Forest Pines Golf Club on (Sun 6th / Mon 7th October 2024), Gerry has been able to negotiate some very good terms, plus the option to add extra golfers if an uptake can be confirmed early. Initially he has booked for 16 Golfers with an option to increase to 24, so we advise all to book early and pay deposits, as we would like to take 24 in Total.

Forest Pines Golf Club, is also part of the "Q" Hotels group and has excellent accommodation and catering facilities alongside the 27 Holes golf course. We are booked for 2 days of Golf, an Evening meal and Bed & Breakfast at a cost of £140 per person, but this may be  limited depending on how early we can confirm numbers. The costs are based on 2 members sharing a room, a single supplement will apply at an extra cost £50.

You are now invited to join "Gerry" and SLRGC members at Forest Pines GC , which is set in the Pine forest and beautiful park lands of the Lincolnshire countryside, it has 27 holes, (9 on the Beeches, 9 on the Forest & 9 on the Pines Course). The Hotel & facilities are modern and stylish. The golf course has scenic views and will be a challenge for all golfers, its not a long course but it has several tight dog legs and fairways running through the lines of heavy trees and forest.

This will include on Sunday (late morning), 1 x Round of Golf on the Beeches & Forest Courses, then an Evening meal, Overnight stay, Bed & Breakfast, then a further round of Golf on the Monday morning on the Forest & Pines Courses. (Actual times to be confirmed later)

A non-refundable deposit has been paid to Forest Pines GC by the Society, but the final numbers attending must be confirmed no later than 8 Weeks in advance of the event.

SLRGC members are required to pay £50 as a deposit to SLRGC, then final monies of £90 to be paid by Monday 1st August 2024. Please confirm your attendance asap and pay your deposits, early payments will secure you attendance, plus will allow us to be able to increase our numbers attending, but it will first come first served, so deposit payments must be made.

Please Submit and confirm attendance below or contact the President or Secretary by email. Cheques for your deposit and/or full cost should be made out to SLRGC, but sent only to the Secretary or if paying by Bank Transfer please confirm the date payment was made, so the Treasurer can check details.
