MATCH 9 v Warwickshire G.C.S. - for the The Glass Goblet

THIS is a HOME MATCH on THURSDAY 28th AUGUST 2025 as being played at KIRBY MUXLOE GC, STATION ROAD, KIRBY MUXLOE, LEICESTER, LE9 2EL

ARRIVAL FROM 11:45hrs so we can MEET & GREET for COFFEE / TEA  and Bacon Baps at 12:00Noon, then First Tee @ 13:00hrs.

Then a Two Course Meal is Planned for Est 18:00hrs, Please Note below is NOT the playing Order, only the selection.

Meal is confirmed of Roast Lion of Pork, Potatoes & Seasonal Vegetables, followed by Apple Crumble & Custard.

(A Meal is Subject to change for known Dietary needs only). It appears we have plenty of names for this Match (34 No), but we have alot of withdrawals, so please resubmit so that a slection can be made with some reserves, also it is often the case that we also have last minute drop outs.

Each Society will play 8 Pairs (16 Golfers per County) as 4bbb Match-play. Cost confirmed at £40 per Head.

The Team has had to be selected as those who normally walk / trollies, apologies but,  Kirby GC are unable to provided Buggies on the day, due to a block booking made by a group of golfers out on the course before our Match, we have informed Warwickshire who have acknowledge. 

MEMBERS are reminded to wear Society Golf Clothing for the match, then Society Blazers & Tie for the meal
