You had sent in your availability to be considered  to play in our Match v the " LADIES" at BEEDLES LAKE GOLF CLUB ON Thursday 11th September 2025, as you had indicated your desire to play this match, a highly competitive game, either as a new or previous player.

Match 11 v L&RLCGA "Ladies" - for the The Glass Angular Trophy

 THIS is an HOME MATCH on THURSDAY 11th September 2025 as being played at BEEDLES LAKE GC,                          Beedles Lake Golf Club,  170 Broome Lane, East Goscote, Leicester, LE7 3WQ.

This is a popular event and one that both parties and members enjoy the challenge of the Golf Course and our battles with the Ladies golf.

ARRIVAL FROM 09:45hrs so we can Meet & Greet @ 10:00hrs for Coffee / Tea and a Bacon / Sausage Bap, or at least 1hr before your allocated Tee Time, if Selected.

First Tee will be at 11:00Hrs (This will be a 2 tee Start), so please arrive in plenty of time

After golf  a Two Course Meal is Planned for Est 16:30hrs. Listed below is NOT the playing Order, only the selection.

Each Society will play 24 Golfers, as the match is 12 pairs per Society.  Cost advised as £27.50per Head (Inclusive of gratuities) 

MEMBERS are reminded to wear Society Golf Clothing for the match and a formal Jacket & Tie for the after match meal, changing rooms will be fully open.  The Choice of meals are listed below so please select a Main meal and a Dessert from the  Menu  listed, this can be done below on your submission form.

Main Meals: A - Salmon Fillet & Hollandaise, Crushed buttered new potatoes & Seasonal Vegetables.

                  B - Roasted Sirloin of Beef, Yorkshire Pudding, Garlic & Thyme roasted potatoes & Seasonal Vegetalbes.

                  C - (Veg) Mushroom, Brie & Cranberry Wellington, Garlic & Tyme roasted potatoes & Seasonal Vegetables.

                  D - (Veg) Beetroot Wellington, Garlic & Tyme roasted potatoes & Seansonal Vegetables.

Desserts :   X - Raspberry & White Choclate Roulade, Chantill cream & fresh berries.

                  Y - Homemade Sticky Toffee Pudding, Toffee Sauce & clotted Cream vanilla ice cream. 

                  Z - Fresh Fruit Salad, and Pouring cream.

Enter Your Name (eg. G. McIntyre), Match (eg. Match 11 v Ladies) and Yes or No & Meal Choice (eg. Yes plus A - Z). Details will be sent to individual golfers nearer the date who have been selected to play, plus a full Tee Time draw sheet (Golfers, Pairings and the list of Meals selected).

After the Main meals,  Tea, Coffee & Mints will also be served. 

At Present we have a squad of 33 Golfers, but only need 24 Golfers playing in the event. Please confirm your are Available or Not, as we may have to call on others to play?
