For many years it has been the tradition of the Society to hold a tournament to celebrate the festive season, whilst at the same time making a significant contribution to the local charity supporting underprivileged children at Christmas. "Toys on the Table". This year we are holding the event at Beedles Lake Gof Club, and have been able to arrange a "Two Tee Start" thus allowing members attending to play a full round and finish the game in daylight hours, therefore more can play and complete the course.

The event will still take the format as  a 4-ball Am-Am stableford, with the best two scores to count on each hole and Nearest the Pins. Entry to the competition will include Coffee/Tea & Bacon Baps on arrival then 18 Holes of Golf (Hole 1 or Hole 10 to start), after golf we will have a traditional 2 Meat Carvey, with Potatoes and Seasonal Vegatables & followed by a seasonal dessert. The cost will be £40 per Head, fully inclusive of Prizes.

Please do not forget the contribution of a new toy (suggested minimum value of £10) for the Charity Toys on the Table, however do not wrap your present at the TOYS CHARITY will sort these out in Age groups and Gender, before wrapping themselves (As normal).

We will  be playing from the 1st Tee  & 10 Tee, with 1st Groups teeing off at 09:58Hrs, so please arrive at least 1 Hour before your Tee time, for Coffee/Tea and Bacon Baps, plus registering at the Desk and collecting Cards. The start sheet will be on the web site a few days before the event, but please ensure you have advised us of your preferred start time, on this submission.

This event has always been extremely popular with members, so early bookings are essential to ensure a good tee time, as we always have a full field of golfers for this event.

Members may enter as teams of four but may enter individually or in twos  or threes and be made up into teams, by the Oragainser.  We also include Gentlemen Vice Captains, Past Captains (Non members) to play in Club groups, plus 1 Guest per Group, all are  welcome to play in this Charity event.
