It has been decided to change the format of this competition from a singles stableford to a team competition

This is initially a trial to hopefully encourage more members to play.

The Presidents Cup has become a casualty of declining numbers.

It has been the worst supported of all the society competitions  falling to only twenty one players in 2024.

The format will be a team of four players with two scores counting on each hole.

Four players from the same club to make up the team  ideally but with the odd single

being placed into a three man team.

Where members have moved clubs from the one where they were Captain  they could choose which one they wanted to represent.

The Club name to be engraved on the Trophy with the players names recorded on the website.

Every effort will be made to ensure that all members wishing to play will be accommodated.

In order to make up a team members can invite club vice captain or captain who has not yet joined the society.

A Club may enter as many teams as they wish.

For a team to get their clubs name on the trophy at least three members of the team must be from that club.

In the case of the winning team not meeting the criteria (a mixed team) they would win the prize but the nearest team meeting the criteria would go onto the trophy.

THIS IS A NEW CLUB TEAM EVENT

Over 18 holes 1st Tee time --12.00 Last Tee Time -- 14:00

The Cost is £38.00 per person inclusive of Coffee/Tea and bacon roll on arrival 18 Holes of Golf & Prizes

The Club will have available Meals from the Menu board at individuals costs. 

Buggies are limited and available on a first come first served basis booked with the golf club
